CHECK-UP

How Often Should My Child See a Dentist?

Most children will need to come in to see our Woombye children’s dentist every six months, but if we feel your child is more at risk of dental problems then we may suggest they pop in to see us more often. These regular dental check-ups are the best way to prevent dental problems from developing and to ensure that any small issues can be quickly picked up and treated. During these visits we can also keep an eye on the development of their teeth and jaws and if necessary will recommend an early orthodontic assessment. We do need to take digital x-rays periodically, but these are very safe.
