With over 30 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Kelly Hunter is a highly respected clinician known for her warm approach, clinical excellence, and deep ties to the local community. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1993, Dr. Hunter began working alongside her father in the family-run practice, eventually taking over as principal dentist in 2012.

Her professional interests include preventive dentistry, geriatric dental care, and the treatment of children, all of which reflect her passion for providing lifelong dental support for families. She has also undertaken advanced training in orthopaedic orthodontics, dental implants, sports dentistry, and sleep dentistry — with a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of sleep apnoea.

Dr. Hunter values the long-term relationships built with generations of patients and takes pride in the trust and loyalty shown by those who return to the practice from near and far. She has fostered a close-knit, compassionate team culture, where staff work collaboratively to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hunter enjoys time with her family, camping adventures, reading, puzzles, and cooking. She believes there’s nothing better than bringing people together through good food and heartfelt connection.

One degree was not enough for Dr Lewis. After graduating from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering, he went on to complete his Graduate Diploma of Dentistry at Griffith University.

After graduating, Dr Lewis worked for a well-known Dentist in Hervey Bay to gain experience and mentorship. However, he missed his beloved Sunshine Coast and moved back to provide superlative dental care to the community of Woombye and also to be nearer to his family.

Dr Lewis has a deep commitment to all aspects of dentistry, but he has a special interest in the more technical aspects of the profession and enjoys Oral Surgery and Root Canal Treatment, plus he is currently doing a residency in Endodontics.

When Lewis is not at work he really enjoys spending time with his family here on the Sunny Coast.
