Dr Kay Agil: Dentist

Having honed her skills as an associate dentist in various mixed practices, Dr. Kay possesses an exceptional ability to communicate and connect with her patients, fostering an environment of trust and comfort. Her comprehensive expertise as a general dental practitioner extends beyond routine dental procedures. With a profound understanding of the diverse needs of her patients, she has augmented her knowledge through working with Denplan and private patients, mastering the art of individualized treatment planning. She has also completed Dental Core Training 1 in Oral Surgery and Dental Core Training 1 in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, broadening her capabilities to perform an array of complex procedures.

Driven by a commitment to continuous professional development, Dr. Kay consistently seeks to enhance her skills and stay at the forefront of dental advancements. She has diligently pursued additional courses in areas such as Facial Aesthetics and Intravenous and Nitrous Sedation, ensuring that her patients benefit from the latest techniques and highest standards of care.

Beyond her role as a dentist, Dr. Kay finds solace and fulfillment in her personal pursuits. An avid skier, hiker, and literary enthusiast, she embraces an active lifestyle and nourishes her well-being. These activities fuel her energy and enthusiasm, enabling her to infuse a positive and invigorated approach into her dental practice. As a testament to her vibrant personality, Dr. Kay’s zest for life shines through in her interactions, leaving a lasting impression on both her colleagues and patients alike.

Dr Richard Hamilton Johnston: Dentist

Richard was born in Brisbane and educated at the Church of England Grammar School. Initially training in the Dental Profession as a Cosmetic Dental Technician employed in Brisbane’s leading laboratories, working with Brisbane’s top Specialist Prosthodontists.

Richard took a hiatus from the Dental Profession, pursuing his passion of all things Aviation. Richard served in the Defence Forces in Army Aviation, before launching into a career as a Commercial Airline Pilot, both in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Returning to his first love Dentistry, Richard completed his dental training and graduated as a Dentist in 2008. He has a total of over 35 years’ experience in the dental profession being one of only five dual qualified Dentist/Technicians in Queensland.

When asked what he likes about his work, Richard loves meeting great patients and the absolute privilege they have trusted in him to treat their Dental issues.

Richard is married to his wife Andrea, and he loves sports, especially Cricket.

Dr Lewis Yan Fang: Dentist

One degree was not enough for Dr Lewis. After graduating from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering, he went on to complete his Graduate Diploma of Dentistry at Griffith University.

After graduating, Dr Lewis worked for a well-known Dentist in Hervey Bay to gain experience and mentorship. However, he missed his beloved Sunshine Coast and moved back to provide superlative dental care to the community of Woombye and also to be nearer to his family.

Dr Lewis has a deep commitment to all aspects of dentistry, but he has a special interest in the more technical aspects of the profession and enjoys Oral Surgery and Root Canal Treatment, plus he is currently doing a residency in Endodontics.

When Lewis is not at work he really enjoys spending time with his family here on the Sunny Coast.

Dr Michel Zabik: Dentist

Dr Zabik has exclusively practiced Aesthetic, Reconstructive and Orthodontic Dentistry for the past 25 years.Dr Zabik, BDS Otago. graduated with awards in Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry in 1988, Dr Zabik has exclusively practiced Aesthetic, Reconstructive and Orthodontic Dentistry for the past 25 years.

With advanced skills in the areas of Cosmetic Dentistry, Holistic Dentistry, Invisalign Orthodontics, Tooth Replacement, Problem Dentures, Mouth Reconstruction and Teeth Whitening, Michel has had extensive training in these advanced techniques both in Australia and overseas. He has trained with Dr Bill Dorfman, of Extreme Makeover USA fame and also at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry in the USA.

Over many years of rebuilding mouths, Dr Zabik realized that it was important to have teeth in their correct position before working on them. Often if teeth are in a bad position it can negatively affected the outcome of treatment. This motivated Dr Zabik to study orthodontics and he undertook the highly regarded POS, 2-year orthodontic training program. Michel successfully completed this course and was awarded an ICCDE Fellowship in orthodontics. Dr Zabik has treated many orthodontic cases and provides all facets of orthodontic treatment including fixing crowded teeth, crooked teeth, gaps, bad bites and improving smiles. He uses a full range of treatments - regular metal braces, white braces, Invisalign and the newest Clear Correct, just released from USA.

Raised in Canada, Michel emigrated to Australia in 1989 and has lived in Queensland for the past 21 years. Michel is married with four young children and is an active member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Dental Research Foundation and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
